KBEAUTY: What’s Inside My Yeppunonnie Philippines Box
New year, new me and new things to try out for my blog.
As a professed fangirl (an ELF since 2007), I am pretty obsessed with Korean make up trends and I am going to attempt a first on beauty blogs.
The only thing I really got to try last year was gradient lips and BB Creams. But before 2016 year ended, I got the chance to meet Yeppunonnie Philippines to talk about a possible partnership with our Korean news site hellokpop.
This means I got a handful of Korean skincare and cosmetic products for the product feature of brands which are all unfamiliar to me.
On this site, I will be reviewing my favorite products from the beauty box that we received. You can also find my features of other Yeppunonnie PH products on hellokpop in this link.
Chic Candy’s collection of makeup base such as moisture foundation and BB and CC creams all gave a smooth and flawless finish.
I mixed the Moisture Air Foundation with my old BB Cream to give it a lighter shade.
The VELLA Ultra Hydro Sun Essence is a fangirl’s best friend.
It has an SPF 50+/PA +++ that helps block off harmful UV Rays while preserving moisture on your face.
Put a drop or two of the essence on your palm and spread it evenly on your face before applying your base make up such as foundation or BB cream.
The BELLEME Shy Smile Blusher I got came in the shade of Lavender Garden.
I was hesitant at first to try it because of its shade – purplish. I had the impression that it might give me a bruised look, especially that I have an olive skin tone, but it didn’t!
LAPCOS (Los Angeles Project Cosmetics)
I love the LAPCOS Color Fit Shadow Kit (Disney) because of its color palette. It’s not too bold nor too daring.
For beginners like me, nude and neutral shades are the best option for practice in wearing eye shadow. The shades in this palette are good for casual look in the office or a no-make up look that is enough to give life to tired eyes.
Here are other items on the beauty box that we received last December:
